Let's start with the nice and hilarious woman who greeted us, sat us and served us upon our first time here. Thank you for the excellent service! My husband and I both agreed that she was really cool. Now for the food. Ohhhhh boy! We could not have loved it more. We ordered two different styles of ramen and the chicken karaage. They offer so many options for dietary restrictions such as GF noodles and vegan options as well which is great because now we can recommend it out our other friends. The ambiance was so cute! Last year when we were in Tokyo we had many of ramen stops all over the city and this spot had that feeling of some of them. Thank you for the nice experience and food.

Came in yesterday with a group. We all ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen and 1 Katsudon. It was very good. We also got a takoyaki to split. Well made ramen at a decent price. Interior is a little small, service was a little slow at first but that is because it's a 1 women show! They only had 1 lady out front who by the way is very nice. She was handling phone orders, pick ups, clean ups, orders. I almost felt bad for her as it seemed overwhelming but she was as handling it well. Overall we will come back as we were satisfied with the experience and taste of the ramen

Silverlake ramen has finally been dethroned! Well for me anyways. Don't get me wrong silverlake is delicious but lately it's been very inconsistent with their flavor. Now that I've tried Susuru there is no turning back. The broth here was packed with soooo much flavor. The chicken karage was easily the best of all the local establishments. I know this place will blow up soon and considering how small it is you better hurry to get here before the lines form. 10/10!!

Perfect post-hike meal. Not far from Fern dell after a hike around Griffith. No frills ambiance, casual but very friendly! The team warmly greeted us with iced water and promptly shared the menu. Hard to choose what to get because there's many options, but we were happy with what we ate. The khao soi ramen is generously portioned, with a perfect blend of Japanese ramen and a Thai coconut soup base. Very flavorful with a nice combo of textures from the crispy crunch of the fried noodles to the bouncy bite of the ramen. Also enjoyed the Thai iced tea, because why not? When in Thai town, you need to drink Thai tea. My boyfriend enjoyed his Tonkotsu ramen as well. There appears to be soda and uniquely flavors of Lays chips available for purchase as snacks too! We're picky when it comes to ramen, because we have a wide selection of ramen restaurants in LA. Now we're excited to recommend Susuru. Can't wait to come back.

Ok the food was a 5!! The store either forgot my Thai Tea or the driver never brought it to me! I was so excited to have my Thai tea and there was no tea in the bag!!! I ate it in the hotel room I was staying in literally 10 min ago!!! The ramen was delicious!!! I also ordered a pork bowl and I didn't expect it to be as good as it was for such a dish!! I hope to visit the restaurant in person when I'm in the La area again!! Stop in ... it's delicious

Susuru Ramen Bar - 5/5 Stars I ordered delivery from Susuru Ramen Bar, and let me tell you--it did not disappoint. Food Review: * Spicy Tonkotsu - The katsu was perfect, and the spice level was just right--not overwhelming but definitely not mild. Added extra wood ear mushrooms for an extra $1.50, and they were absolutely worth it. * Tonkotsu (x2) - Whether made in-house or not, the tonkotsu was fantastic. Added extra scallions to one for an extra $1.50, and it just elevated the flavor. * Thai Tea (x3, Large) - Perfectly sealed, well-balanced sweetness, and refreshing. Worth every penny * Veggie Tempura - Some of the best tempura I've ever had. Light, crispy, and flavorful. * Chicken Karaage - Absolute favorite! I've never had chicken karaage this good before. Perfectly crispy and seasoned. * Salmon Roll - This isn't a sushi place, and at $10, the roll wasn't my favorite. But let's be real--you come here for the ramen, not the sushi. Final Thoughts: I can't speak to the ambiance or in-person service since this was a delivery order, but I can tell you this: Susuru Ramen Bar is worth every penny. The ramen is significantly more affordable than most competitors, and the quality is outstanding. If you're craving ramen, this is the spot. Five Stars!

This was a blind eat for me and I'm so happy I went ! Walked in randomly to a very tiny restaurant. Probably about ten tables. We got seated right away. Maybe about 15 mins later the place started filling up and there was a line at the door !! We got so lucky and it made me more excited. Server was really nice too. What we ordered *tonkotsu ramen- one spicy ($15) and one regular($14) silky pork broth, pork belly chashu, scallions, wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, & seasoned soft-boiled egg - Both were packed with so much flavor. You can taste the char on the pork belly. Yummy yummy. My friend said it's one of the best ramen he's ever had. *fried squid legs ($12) - I was most excited for this !! A must whenever I see it on the menu. It did not disappoint !! So crispy. Flavorful on its own without any dipping sauce. I really wanted to order another but ahem* trying to watch my figure hahaha *spicy tuna on crispy rice (6) - came with two pieces. The tuna was not fishy tasting at all. Rice was actually crispy and not soggy and pathetic. I enjoyed it all so much I'm planning to go back this weekend.

Had this ramen spot on my list of places I needed to try, especially after it was rated the top ramen restaurant in California by Yelp. So finally went there since I was in the area and am disappointed I didn't go sooner. There is a small, shared, parking lot which can be hard to get parking in, but there is street parking around as well. Was able to walk in and get seated right away. Our order was taken immediately, with both of us trying a Tonkotsu ramen, mine spicy, hers was regular. Now, the broth is where the party starts, and this broth was a little on the thicker end and full of flavor. The noodles were ample in amount and the pork belly was very flavorful. And the drained egg is always that bite of rich indulgence you look forward to with a good bowl of ramen. Pricing was also very reasonable for the quality of ramen it is. If you're a fan of ramen, put Susuru on your list of must trys for a quality bowl of happiness!

Cute little spot with excellent customer service. Ramen was solid. I loved the broth, and the Chashu was good (I have had better Chashu though).. My egg was cooked perfect, I did wish it had a little more flavor (not the best egg I have had but still solid). My fiance liked his chicken ramen (he gives it a 7/10). The chicken karrage is actually one of the best I have had (Although my fiance said the batter reminded him of McDonald's chicken nugget). I would definitely come back because I liked it a lot.
